NEW BEGINNINGS

Sometimes we can't wait for the end of the year to come so that we can start all over again. This has been a year of many challenges for us and others. It makes me very sad that we live in a world that has no peace, where fear overshadows love. I long for some sanity and find it through the love and generosity of friends and family.
I am grateful for all of those who reached out to be there for us when we needed it. I am grateful to receive as well as give. The cycle of love must flow through all of us in order to find peace.
We may begin again with this new year. To set our goals, clean the slate, and most of all love ourselves to allow what ever changes that need to be made happen.
I have already begun some of my new changes. I will turn 50 later on in the new year. I see myself evolving looking at what does not serve me anymore and how I want to live the next 50 years, given the opportunity.
It's funny as we all know what we need to do to change and how much better we would feel if we did and why we don't. How do we make that shift? I believe for me it is an awareness. A part of my self that no longer wants to be in denial. The challenge is to face the fears that come with that. To acknowledge my unhealthy behavoirs and call myself on them. The pay off is I get to experience peace of mind. What price would you pay for peace of mind? To love yourself fully that you would do anything to make yourself healthier. The body, mind and spirit are very forgiving . Are you ready for a New Beginning?
