STONE MASSAGE

Kathy is now offering a new modality, Stone Massage, in two formats.
"Just Stones" is an hour long session in which warm, smooth river stones are placed on your body and used to massage your entire body.
"Stones and Hands" is an hour and a half full body Swedish massage in which warm stones are used after massaging to relax your body and bring you into more perfect balance.

Grand Master Visits Hawaii!
Phyllis Lei Furumoto, Grand Master of Usui Shiki Ryoho (Usui System of Natural Healing), is returning to the
Islands in January 2002. Phyllis travels the world, guiding masters and students to a deeper experience of the
System. These are your opportunities to meet with her:
First Degree Reiki Class January 10-13 (12 hours total)
Phyllis Lei Furumoto presents this beginning class for those wishing to enter Usui Shiki Ryoho. The basic practice of the system will be given through teaching and personal experiences. Tuition: $150
Honolulu Gathering January 12, 3-7pm
In a rare opportunity to spend time with the Grand Master, Reiki practitioners and others are invited to
this gathering. Phyllis will open the dialogue with an introduction followed by group discussion about the
practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho. Tea and pupus are provided. Fee: $40
Student and Master Weekend January 19 & 20, Kauai
A weekend of treatments and conversations about themes that have arisen in the practice of the participants will provide a deepening quality for each individual's relationship with the practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho.
Fee: $165

Mahalo for Two Years of Healing
Rainbow Healing Arts celebrates its two-year anniversary January 1st. We are so grateful for the opportunity to manifest our wildest dreams by being self-employed and doing our healing work. In appreciation of our beloved clients, we would like to offer each of you $5 off a session of your choice during the months of January and February.
We have exciting plans for 2002, and some are already in the works. Kathy has developed Stone Massage, a wonderful modality where warm stones are placed on your body and used to massage your muscles into total relaxation.
Kathy and Liza are now in training learning Lomi-Lomi and Hawaiian healing arts from Auntie Keonaona Neilson at the 'Ai Kupele Cultural Healing Center of the Waimanalo Health Center. We are so grateful for the knowledge and wisdom we are gaining, as well as the profound aloha we experience each time we enter the clinic to practice and give back to the community.
Liza looks forward to deepening her understanding of the Usui System of Reiki at various events coming up soon. She will be able to spend time with Phyllis Furumoto, Grand Master of the Usui System in January (see article on other side). Then she will spend time with Reiki Masters of all different lineages at the Masters Education Project weekend in March (call if interested).
Looking at the list of opportunities coming our way, we feel like children in a candy store. One of our New Year's Resolutions is to do our best to help others live their passions as we have been able to with Rainbow Healing Arts. Mahalo.
