| LIZA'S STORY |
| In June of 1995, I attended a conference for HIV/AIDS providers called "Caring for Ourselves". As part of this day of wellness, we had the opportunity to sign up for a free 20 minute session of some healing modality. I looked at the choices, and decided to sign up for Reiki, since I had already experienced the other modalities offered.
After I signed up , I got a sick feeling in my stomach. I looked at the description of the Reiki Master offering her services, and was bewildered to read that she used tools like crystals and spirit guides in her sessions. This all sounded way too far out for me, and I was feeling nauseous at this point, so I went back to the table to try and sign up for massage, which I knew I liked. Of course, the spaces for massage had been filled.
I waited in line about half an hour, becoming more nervous all the time. Finally, I was invited in by one of the most beautiful women I have ever met, Robin Scott Manna. At the end of my session, I was lying on the table crying my eyes out, and begging Robin for the opportunity to get ìmore of this, whatever this isî. She gave me her number and asked me to call for an appointment.
I left and was so shook up that I walked all the way around the adjacent football field, crying and feeling more loved than I ever had before, wondering what had just happened. I have never been the same since.

Table of Contents:
| RAINDROP TECHNIQUE |
| Raindrop Technique was developed by Dr. Gary Young along with a Lakota medicine man in the 1970's. It is a gentle, non-invasive technique which uses therapeutic grade essential oils along the spine to correct spinal defects and enhance overall health. It is based on the theory that misalignments along the spine are caused by bacteria and viruses that live along the spine in a dormant state. Raindrop can also provide emotional balancing and cleansing.
During a session, the client lies face down, while oils are placed along the spine in a specific order, massaged using special techniques, and the client is covered with a warm towel to enhance penetration of the oils and relaxation. The treatment lasts approximately and hour, and the oils continue to re-align the body for 5 to 7 days after the session. The main oils used during the session are: thyme, oregano, birch, cypress, peppermint, basil, and marjoram.
Liza and Kathy offer Raindrop Technique as a two practitioner session, and tailor each session to the individual client. We look forward to sharing this amazing technique with many of you! Raindrop Technique is on special until the end of October .

HEALING TRAUMA
FROM THE PAST |
| Second Degree Reiki is a powerful tool for transforming our past as well as our present lives. During my last Second Degree Reiki class, students were so moved by the experience of sending distance Reiki to heal past trauma, that they requested to create a workshop for those with Second Degree Reiki on this subject.
The workshop will be limited to 6 participants. We will have one person at a time share a past experience, and we will all send Reiki together to support the person in their new reality. This workshop may develop into an ongoing group, or may change in format according to the wishes of the group. If you have not yet taken Second Degree Reiki and wish to, the next class will be September 22 and 23.

| ALOHA FROM KATHY LEONARD |
| Kathy Edwards took over Kathy Leonard's massage practice in June, 2000. A hello to her former clients...
A big hello to all of you and news of my life here in California. It's been a little over two months since I left Hawaii and the transition has been rough at times but overall I am loving it here. I took 7 weeks off and gave myself a chance to settle in and discover all the great hiking and mountain biking trails Tahoe has to offer. My first project was to clear a trail down to the creek and hiking trails from my house, which has been completed and so convenient for me and Akebono to play. I have once again started my business and it is called ìMassage to Goî. I only do outcall work in Truckee and the surrounding areas and I am getting busy already. My husband and son have taken up dirt-biking and come home extremely dirty and sore, but no major injuries! I miss all of you so much and would love to hear from you or if you come to the Lake give me a call, we'll do lunch!
Love, Kathy
